Originally this was not going to be "altered" but after playing with contrast, color and levels, i got this very interesting result. No filters or actions were used, just very basic editing tools.

I was downtown (here in Kingston) a few years back when they were flying low over Queens University. T'was a sight to see. (sorry, no pics)
Neither do I! I want to watch them all the time!
That's awesome! They did that in Cobourg when I was 5 years old. I think it was for a charity event, but I can't remember exactly
Gotta be one of my best childhood memeories.
Thank you! Sorry this response is late! I just got to looking over the comments in depth today School has been keeping me occupied.
I agree with you about the editing. I don't normally like doing editing a work at all, unless I'm trying to salvage something really interesting from a shoot. This photo was alright without the alterations and I was going to upload it as it was, but I felt it was grayed and there wasn't as much color contrast between the planes and the sky to really make them pop (I believe the smoke from previous loops might have created that effect on the original). I literally did exactly as I described, sticking with the very basic editing tools in Photoshop and well I guess the result was quite strong! Little things can make a big difference I suppose.
