Description
This is Penelope a American bulldog cross. She was at our shelter for a long time waiting not only for a forever home, but also for several vets to decide if she was or was not a pit bull.
Sadly, pits are banned here in Ontario
That does not mean that if a pit is brought in, it is automatically dead. If it passes a behavior test, it is deported to a surrounding province or state to find a home.
Penelope was considered not a pit bull and she could be adopted back out here. She was actually adopted by one of my sister's best friend's parents
She is doing very well. She still goes to obedience to work on her very mild dog aggression but she is smart and very loving and its something that can be worked with and fixed.
Her name is Penny now, but i still call her Penelope.
