Description

We found a very tiny Garter Snake while hiking and fishing at one of our favorite spots. We were just talking about how it would be great to see a snake again and then i heard some rustling and saw the tiny guy in the leaves. This was actually the second smallest one I've seen. The tiniest one we've ever found was at most five inches long and was narrow enough to fit through a drinking straw! This guy was much thicker.

I used my Sigma Macro Lens for this shot.
