| BASIC INFO Hello everyone!! My name is Rachel and I am a young artist just here to get my work out there. I am French Canadian, British, Metis and Algonquin (Native American), and I'm very proud of my heritage. Most of my art consists of nature photos; from landscapes/ skyscapes to domestic and wild animals. I also have digital art, but there won't likely be anymore until I can get photoshop at home. I love video games. Okami is one of my favorites, as well as LAIR. As you can guess, wolves are my favorite animal, along with orcas and falcons. Aviation, volcanology and geology are some of my other interests, as well as sketching and painting. I am hoping to volunteer either at my local humane society or a Reptile Zoo called Reptilia. I am also interested in adopting an Artic Wolf at the Toronto Zoo. I like a whole wide variety of art. Paintings, photos, sketches and literature. Fan art, nature photos and brightly colored animals are some of my favorite things to collect and view. I am working on sketching and coloring as I have not done it in a while and don't have much of it on here. What I notice about several deviants is that they focus on a particular theme for their work. This works good for some, but not others. I have a ton of variety in my gallery to meet the interests of a wide variety of people. Through the summer of 2009, the main pieces of work that were put up were nature photos and new sketches of wolves and some fan art. Coming into November, I plan to put up aviation images to show support to veterans of war, as well as add my autumn photographs before the snow comes. December to February will be a time for more traditional art (drawings, sketches, paintings). Springtime is what I look forward to. I have a birch bark canoe that needs to be painted.
